We’ve finished the filming part at both middle schools, DCHS and RMS.    I know the students really want to see the outcome of all their hard work so I’m really working hard at the editing of all the footage.    It takes much MUCH longer to edit than it does to film!    I hope to have a preview version for them to see right after the Thanksgiving break.     We’re moving on the another project, though.  We’re trying to put something in place so the schools will have a template of sorts to include video messages for students.   We piloted it at the high school and it worked well, so I’m attempting to let the students at the middle schools try it!   You can watch the high school version on the website (www.dawsonstudentfilms.com).   It’s called the Lunchtime Shoutout.

As for the high school, I’m going to try to get the students to focus on the next Shoutout to see if they will carry it forwared.   I’m also in the planning stages of starting a routine after school club there (probably on wednesday afternoons).
